Important stuff
Restricted currencies
Indian Rupee (INR), Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and Philippine Peso (PHP) are restricted currencies. You cannot fund these currencies directly. They can only be bought by converting another supported currency and sold back only in exceptional scenarios. Find out more at our FAQ. Cutoff times vary by the Sell currency, please check each Payment Guide for details.
Brexit
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer some currencies to clients who are either operating in the EEA or with EEA-based customers, and who are serviced under the e-money license we have through our European entity.
The currencies we are unable to offer under this arrangement are:
- Bahrain Dinar (BHD)
- Bulgarian Lev (BGN)
- Chinese Yuan (CNY)
- Israeli Shekel (ILS)
- Kuwait Dinar (KWD)
- Omani Rial (OMR)
- Qatar Rial (QAR)
- Russian Ruble (RUB)
- Thai Baht (THB)
- Ugandan Shilling (UGX)
Mexican Peso
Regular MXN payments are closed to new customers at the current time. Please contact your Customer Success Manager to register your interest and we’ll let you know you when we make them available again.
Chinese Yuan
Clients can make CNY payments by converting funds firstly to CNH and then to CNY. Find out more by reading our FAQ.
Russian Ruble
We are not currently supporting RUB transactions due to the conflict in Ukraine. When RUB is supported, it is as as a sell only currency. You cannot convert any other currency into RUB for payments.
