Megan Greene has been an external member of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee since July 2023.
She is a Senior Fellow at the Watson Institute (Brown University) and teaches at Schwarzman College (Tsinghua University) and the European University Institute.
She serves on the Academic Advisory Committee at the San Francisco Fed and is a Senior Fellow in Global Macroeconomics at Chatham House.
She is on the advisory boards of Rebuilding Macroeconomics and Econofact and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Bretton Woods Committee.
Previously, she was Global Chief Economist at Kroll and John Hancock Asset Management.
She was a Contributing Editor and columnist at the Financial Times, focusing on global macroeconomics and policy.
She also served on the International Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and was a Senior Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School.
