Treasury Secretary Bessent said:

I wish job market had come out today

Then added that he has no prior knowledge of tomorrow’s job data.

Then why say that?

The Trump administration, his family, and all of Washington have all the news to make boatloads of money and they have. There is no guard rails. Treasury Secretary Bessen may have misspoke but no one knows anymore, and the watchdogs are asleep and letting it happen.

The US jobs report will indeed be released tomorrow at 8:30 AM ET. The nonfarm payroll number is expected to rise by 85K vs 115K last month
