European equities stick with gains at the open today amid hopes for a trade deal

The gains mark a fresh record high for the UK FTSE as equities in the region are continuing to stay in a bullish mood. It shows that trade developments are still the number one driver of market sentiment at the moment. US futures are also keeping steadier, with S&P 500 futures flat while Nasdaq futures are up 0.2%
