European equities pare opening gains as the risk mood sags

March 10, 2025 at 08:20AM

Eurostoxx -0.2%

Germany DAX -0.1%

France CAC 40 -0.1%

UK FTSE -0.3%

Spain IBEX -0.4%

Italy FTSE MIB -0.3%

The selling hit right as things got underway in Europe and we’re seeing major indices in the region turn negative now. For some context, the DAX opened with gains of 0.6% just about 20 minutes ago. At the same time, US futures are also sliding with S&P 500 futures now down 0.8% and Nasdaq futures down 1.0%. Danger, danger.
