European equities kick start the day with slight gains

December 12, 2024 at 08:05AM

Eurostoxx +0.2%

Germany DAX +0.2%

France CAC 40 +0.4%

UK FTSE +0.1%

Spain IBEX -0.1%

Italy FTSE MIB +0.5%

It’s a decent start but it is very much early in the day. The ECB decision might be a straightforward one but investors will still look to that for some assertion later in the day. Elsewhere, US futures are a little sluggish despite the gains in Wall Street overnight. S&P 500 futures are down 0.1% currently.
