The US treasury will auction off $13 billion of 20 year bonds at the top of the hour. The success or failure of the auction will be compared to the six-month averages of the major components:
Tail 1.3 bps
Bid to cover 2.52X
Directs (a measure of domestic demand) 16.9%
Indirects (a measure of international demand) 66.2%
Dealers (they take the rest) 16.9%
